- Trieka, a health initiative founded by Dr. Shiney Linu, with 17 years of experience aims to heal and transform lives through Ayurveda by following a healthy lifestyle, ayurvedic nutrition, and the holistic science of Ayurveda.
- Trieka, which stands for "Healthy body, mind, and soul," is an acronym for "Three in One." A person can only be deemed healthy only when all the three are present in a state of homeostasis can a person be said to be healthy.
- At Trieka, we think a treatment is only holistic if it considers all three of these aspects, as opposed to just treating the underlying physical illness or doing specific panchakarma procedures.
- Dr. Shiney Linu, who comes from God's own country of Kerala, has always been passionate about ayurveda and the Nature. Her passion gradually transformed into her profession. She pursued BAMS from Rajeev Gandhi University in Karnataka.
- She acquired expertise by working with renowned ayurvedic brands from Kerala like Kairali Ayurvedic group, Dhathri Ayurveda, Vaidyaratnam Oushadhasala, Santhigiri, Aayur Reksha Bhawan and MGM Ayurveda. Meanwhile she also earned certification in PGDHA.
- In the course of her practice, while carefully listening to patients' health issues, she discovered that poor eating habits and inadequate nutrition were the underlying causes of almost all illnesses.
- The concepts of Aahara, Pathya and apathya for diverse illnesses are already described in Ayurveda.
- To gain an in-depth knowledge, she gained certification in Diet & Nutrition.
- She recommends diets based on the fundamental aahara concept as described in Ayurveda based on the Prakruti (body type of a person), considering the Agni that is the Digestive fire of a person, the concept of viruddha aahara (wrong food combinations) & Strength of a person.
